Fact Sheet

United Way of Greater Lorain County is an independent, nonprofit fundraising and community service organization which conducts an annual campaign in order to support programs at 27 health and human service agencies in community service. The United Way is overseen by a local volunteer board of directors. Community volunteers who represent all walks of life oversee the distribution of funds and ensure that the member agencies adhere to stringent standards of accountability.
