Recruiting a Campaign Committee

Teamwork is vital to a group’s success. For the most successful campaign in your organization, enlist some help. People from all levels and divisions of your organization, can and should participate in your campaign. They all have talents that can make your campaign more effective. Make it their campaign.

Your Chief Executive Officer (CEO) can participate in group meetings and endorse the campaign in letters sent to employees. Think of other helpful ways to include your CEO in thanking employees for their pledges and volunteer efforts.

Your Communications Representative can assist in campaign promotion and publicity. Through employee publications, posters and other means, employees can be alerted to upcoming events and the campaign in general.

Your Human Resource Representative is in an excellent position to help with soliciting new employees, and may be able to assist you in other related areas.

Your Data Processing Representative can help in campaign analysis or in personalizing memos and other materials during the campaign.

Your Finance/Payroll Representative can be of invaluable help in the voluntary payroll deduction process and can provide ongoing tabulations to track results.

Your Supervisors are in key areas of your organization. They can serve by scheduling and promoting attendance at group meetings and by assisting you with follow-ups.
